Every AMPA Enterprises driver follows the same structured path — from the moment you submit your application to the day you receive the keys to your upgraded assigned company truck. The full hiring and onboarding process can take up to two weeks, and every step exists to make sure you and AMPA are set up for a long, successful partnership.
It all starts here — tell us who you are and why you want to drive for AMPA.
Head to our Careers portal and complete the full application. You'll share your trucking experience, preferred role, availability, simulator profiles (Steam, TruckersMP, TrucksBook), and answer a few acknowledgement questions about our policies. Every field matters — the more complete and accurate your application, the smoother the rest of the process goes.
Our Human Resources team verifies everything you submitted.
Once your application lands, our Human Resources team goes through your background information and checks every detail you provided to make sure it's accurate. We confirm your experience, verify your simulator profiles, and ensure everything lines up before we move you forward to the interview stage.
A voice-to-voice with our recruitment team and hiring staff.
The interview is our chance to get personable — not a formal interrogation, but a real conversation. We get a voice-to-voice with you so we can see how you are and how we are, get a feel for each other, and build a mutual understanding of what you want out of AMPA and what we need out of you as a driver and as someone coming into the company. If the interview goes well, you proceed to orientation.
A scheduled session where you get fully onboarded and set up.
Orientation is something we'll schedule with you. It covers the majority of our company policies, rules, and regulations, and goes over a lot of information pertaining to the company. This is where you get onboarded and fully set up. We walk through our vision, who we are as a company, and where we started — because this is a revamp — so you understand the foundation you're stepping into.
Four structured phases that take you from inspection to independent driver.
After orientation, you move into the training phase — the core of the onboarding journey. It's broken into four distinct phases, each building on the last. You must complete each phase in order to advance.
Get cleared by the Chief Compliance Officer and your Operations Manager before touching a truck.
Additional structured training that prepares you for the AMPA CDL exam.
Everyone must pass the AMPA CDL exam before advancing to the RNR phase.
Your 30-day probationary period — we monitor your readiness to operate independently.
If you haven't already, head to our Careers portal and submit your application. Your two-week journey to becoming a full AMPA driver starts the moment you hit submit.
