Trucky Freight Services, Inc. was founded in 2022 by Z Trucky, who serves as President of Operations. What started as a small virtual carrier rapidly grew into one of the most professional and respected VTCs in the community — forging real partnerships, running disciplined operations, and building an unmistakable blue-and-white brand.
TFS has operated as a proud partner carrier with Walmart, including participation in the annual Wreaths Across America campaign — a testament to the company's commitment to meaningful, purpose-driven operations.
In January 2025, Ampa Enterprises made the difficult decision to cease operations. Staffing challenges, difficulty retaining drivers, financial pressures, and real-life obligations pulling key leadership away from their roles all played a part in the closure.
TFS stepped in to acquire the company and all of its assets, preserving the brand. As part of the acquisition, Phil Burks — formerly Chairman and CEO of Ampa Hangout Group and Ampa Enterprises, Inc. — transitioned into the role of Vice President of Operations at TFS. After a period of preservation, Ampa's doors are opening once more — backed by the full strength of Trucky Freight Services.
